WRI eNews January 2021
Date: January 2021
Introducing our new and improved website! Especially in the new “normal” of the world, the Wire Reinforcement Institute has moved to create a brand new HUB for the organization.
At WRI, we’re constantly striving to improve the member and visitor experience. We’ve made our website easier to navigate (and more fun to use) than ever before. Whether you want to take a course, need to update your membership, or are looking to learn the basics of welded wire reinforcement, think of this site as your HUB for all things WRI.
Updates and Upgrades
- Revamped user experience. The new website has been modernized with the member experience in mind. Improved full-screen navigation shows you all we have to offer, while newly reorganized content gets you to what you need in less time.
- A new and improved Member Hub still being enhanced as you read this! Update your membership, gain access to member-exclusive resources, and become an active part of the WRI community.
- Expanded thought leadership. Read case studies, original blog posts, and news articles to learn more about all the various uses of WWR and how you can implement it into your projects.
Innovation is at the heart of what we do. We’re thrilled to present this innovative new site to our members and visitors as we continue our mission to inspire and educate.
A Pandemic Check-in
Just checking back to wish you good personal and strong financial health in 2021 as we all limp back from the devastating COVID-19 Pandemic. We know these are still challenging times and hope our resources can help you to keep moving your businesses and jobs ahead.
Looking for a Course?
Looking for another course to add to your credentials? WRI is exploring opportunities to collaborate on future courses of interest to our members and stakeholders. We would like to hear what you think. What subjects would you like to see us offer? Send your ideas to: [email protected]
Watch our site for additional courses later this year.

A New Tool Available

The Welded Wire Reinforcement Design and Detailing Guide is now published. It provides contractors and designers a comprehensive benchmark for the incorporation of WWR into contract documents used on site.
